Pens got back...to back losses. Crozzers pointless.

Habs undefeated so far. No injury rust for Max.

Pens dominated the first five minutes but couldn't score. Then Gallagher and Max made it 1-0.

Habs score first for a fourth straight game.

2-2 after two. Some nifty passing all around.

Max scores his second of the game on the PP. He found a bit of space between the post and MAF, who was being screened by Gallagher.

Still no points for Crosby, but he got his first shot of the season after nada the first two games.

Plotnikov looks good for Pittsburgh. Big dude, was hanging around in front of Price. It's amazing how much better this team looks when Letang is there.

Habs win, start the season 4-0. Last three Habs teams to do that won the Cup. All four games were on the road.

Anyone remember that guy?

Great writer, but I bet he's doing actuarial work these days?

Le sigh!

Poor Artist Formerly Known as Saskhab: If this is the year the Habs finally end the Cup drought, he'll be contractually forbidden from enjoying it.

Therrien hasn't messed with the lines so far, for good reason.

Max-Pleks-Gallagher is a no-brainer

Galchenyuk centering Eller has been fine. The former can handle the position and the latter has looked a bit more creative on the offensive side. Semin is the other guy on the line and it looks like he's still trying to find his legs. I don't think he's dogging it, but it is possible he's lost a step.

Fleischmann and Desharnais are great together. DD as a third line centre actually makes sense: he's not a conventional shutdown guy, but he is able to take advantage of the matchup more than when he was getting a top line role. Weise brings speed to the line.

Flynn-Mitchell-Smith Pelly play responsible minutes. You don't worry about them defensively, and they can generate offensive chances, even though they lack finish.

Price is already in Hart Trophy form.
