Hulsizer finally bows out for good.

Guess we'll see what happens next.

Reinsdorf is back in the picture. I bet he's laughing hard right now.

A potential Coyotes move will definitely screw up efforts to realign the league. I do hope they're not going to ask Winnipeg to play in the Southeast for TWO seasons, would they?

Anyway...this pretty much sums up the situation.

This threatens to become a Jazz-Hornets-Bobcats situation. I'd way rather the Coyotes have returned to Winnipeg and the Thrashers have gone elsewhere. All this history is messed now.

It'd be pretty funny if the Winnipeg fans asked the team fka the Thrashers to leave so the Coyotes could go & re-become the Jets.

Well, maybe just to me.

Just wait until Phoenix moves to Quebec City.

Not really news per se, but it looks like Glendale is preparing for life without the NHL.

Sad really. There will be no question whatsoever of Tippett's coaching abilities if he somehow makes it into the postseason with Mike frickin' Smith as his #1 goaltender.

Not ownership-related, but has anyone noticed how well Mike Smith is playing for the Yotes right now?

Sean Burke might very well be this team's best asset.

They'd do better if they offered to take season ticket payments in food stamps.

They had a feature on CBC Radio a couple weeks back on a minister from Saskatoon getting plucked from his meek earnings preaching for a modest sized, mom and pop United Church congregation to an arena gig in the Phoenix area with a laser show and a 10 piece rock band (he now makes like half a mill a year and got a free house and Hummer as perks). Apparently the Coyotes are competing against church for entertainment dollars.

They have a good team, but (and I hate to sound superficial here, but it's true) they actually need a get-the-fans-out-of-their-seats type offensive player to draw the crowds, not a bunch of grinders ekeing out wins every game. Don't get me wrong, it's a well-managed and supremely well-coached squad, but they desperately need a star up front. Maybe that's why Don Maloney continues to wave off any and all offers for Kyle Turris.

Awesome. That reminds me of the one and only part of "Four Christmases" I actually liked.

I don't get it...how does this work? How do you "suspend" a franchise? If you disperse the players, it's not like you can simply recall them later, can you?
