A game that has something for everyone...except great goaltending.

Stamkos with a hat trick. Hard to believe he's the only player to get one in this game.

Five points on the night for #91. Just kinda puts into perspective how CRAZY it is that Sittler once got 10 in a single game.

Even more intriguing is Stamko's goal a game pace thus far (19 goals in 19 games).

Will HE be the next one to pot 50/50?

It would be unthinkable feat in this era :spin:

St. Louis and Stamkos are the best duo in the NHL. And Stevie Y didn't even choose either of them to play for Canada.

Apparently it's the most goals in the first period of a game (5-4 Philly after 1) in 19 years, and most goals after 2 periods (7-7 tie) since 1986... for a Whalers/Nordiques game, just for some more perspective.

9-8 final, JVR and Briere the only players to register multiple goals, which is amazing considering the Jets put up nine.

Carle and Bogosian both with -3 ratings on the night. Neither starting goalie finished the game.

This is how I know the Jets are back. A 17 goal NHL game.

When a see the Jets in a 9-8 game, I figure Hawerchuk must have potted like 5 of them. Because it clearly isn't 2011.
