Is that a 17-foot blocker, or is he carrying a surfboard?

What about Johan Backlund who they signed in the spring? Apparently some people think he could turn out to be the next Backstrom.

Don't know, he will be down with the Phantoms for now. The Flyers are very high on him though.
And Hounsy, I already have that picture..

Emery was up in Calgary having a good time:

Never thought to use my goal gear as bait for the ladies back in my single days...Don't think my Wife is asleep yet, going to go grab the gloves and pants and make my move.

Yeah the gloves are your best idea Hounsy...probably the worst-smelling part of goalie gear?

Now to get the rest on her!

 What a good sport.

I was going to suggest the pads looked a little big, but hey if it work for Lundqvist it can work for her.

I didn't even have to ask! She grabbed one of the pads and then I helped her with the other one. The stick was my idea though.

Yeah they aren't thigh boards so much as they are kidney boards. It's funny because I leaned the pads too...her legs are in more of a straight angle than the pads
