Not my idea of a good time...but it should be entertaining to watch. Probably not something this good since Felix Baumgartner took a dive. Still not sure how he pulled out of that spin.


Fans can watch "Ascension" at https://www.youtube.com/c/DavidBlaine. It's scheduled to start at 5:55 a.m. PDT Wednesday, Sept. 2, wind permitting.

The channel has started but I guess they are looking at a 0830-0900 MST launch time.

So I clicked the link to see him release from the balloons and parachute to Earth but I don't know why that is impressive or cool. Which I guess sums up anything I've seen that guy do since his street magic fame.

Maybe I just missed something and there is an impressive feat in there.

It's fun, glad everything went okay.

Now, he was strapped in right? He wasn't just gripping onto the balloon strings with his hand...?
