Even astronomers are using the A word:

Quote:
“Aliens should always be the very last hypothesis you consider, but this looked like something you would expect an alien civilization to build.”

Well here's a good explanation of the Dyson Sphere. Which appears to be what is being referenced here. We stand on the precipice of awakening!

I find discussion about aliens amusing. On one hand, when I look up in the sky & see more stars (suns) than I can count, I'm completely convinced there are lifeforms on millions of planets. But any time someone claims to have evidence of any, I think they should cap all the acetone jugs and get out into fresh air.

And right back here on earth we continue to rediscover our past. And this cycle begins to understand that maybe just maybe we or somebody like us has done all of this before.

Nope, no Dyson Sphere. Absolutely no evidence of intelligent life there. Probably a comet trail.

Well definitely not comet trail.

Continues to get weirder and even more implausible

The difference between supernatural and scientific explanation often is just a matter of time, understanding, and acceptance. I suspect alien life exist, but this star with a dimmer switch may simply be a natural situation that is beyond our current comprehension.

Or an alien intelligence far beyond our comprehension......... :D

But yeah its most likely to be natural and presently beyond scientific understanding.

Mathematically its far more absurd that intelligent life doesn't exist.

Pokes several holes in mainstream religion and human culture as a whole.
