Anyone else having a wilder than usual winter? Montreal just ended a six-day streak where it didn't go over -17 celsius (1 F) and we've been hit with two huge snowfalls already (with another coming next week.)

It's been colder than a polar bear's ass here in NY for weeks. My backyard rink liner has a leak, so I waited for the deep freeze and repeatedly flooded it to freeze from the top down.

Climate change- it's real kids.

Coooooooold. Got a bunch of snow around Christmas, nothing crazy, but what we got hasn't melted at all.

Had downright balmy weather going into the holidays and then the bottom dropped out right before Christmas. It's since become "tolerably cold" the past couple days but let's just say the space heaters have been working overtime the past few weeks.

Winter? What's that? Its been 50 plus out here in the overpopulated Rocky Mtn region...only had snow once less than 2 inches. Very strange indeed. Everyone else appears be having a winter wonderland and we are in the tropics!

Everything is fine. Just a frozen ocean.

Montreal has rough winters, but the reason this one has been so lousy is the lack of reprieve from either -30 celsius or 20 cm snowfalls. We haven't had any normal, sunny, cold but not too cold winter days. No sunlight, constant snow and cold temperatures. And really windy and smoggy too. It's really bumming me out.

Interesting....its been disgustingly brown and unsightly air quality here too. Of course we are in the 50's....with no moisture at all but its very strange. Tell the Donald to turn off that weather warfare machine.

Snow melted but now we've been hit with a thick layer of freezing rain. Montreal is an ice rink. I can't win.

Three weeks of Nor'easters pounding the Adams Division cities. Montreal didn't get the worst of it, but a foot of snow in mid-March is always a bummer.

Fuck your foot. We've gotten 40" in the last few weeks! 14" one day, 26" a few days later. Actually, another 4" yesterday as well, and more on the way.
Had no power for 4 days, got it back for 2, then lost it for 2 more days. Some people around here still don't have it. So the Metro cities say fuck you.

We had it bad before March. Montreal had about 200 cm's from December to February, so over 75 inches.

So we say fuck you back.

Mind you we got nothing in Toronto during those three Nor'easters, so I should probably just shut up myself.

Pretty sure we got about that as well. It's been a hell of a winter.

Yeah this was the winter that kept on giving. Way above annual snowfall averages. It snowed all day and night yesterday but it crept above freezing so it all turned into about a foot of mush. Pulling out my car today was like trying to get out of mud.

It's going to be above freezing till tomorrow so road crews are out trying to get as much as they can before it drops to -15C on Saturday. It's supposed to take 4 days to clear the city, but in reality it's more like a week.
