Jane Russell and her amazing assets make it all the way to 89.

Last month Maria Schneider, who played Jeanne in Last Tango in Paris joined Marlon Brando and his stick of butter in the dance hall in the sky. She was 58 years old and had been suffering from cancer:

She was too young and immature to overcome the backlash and outrage that accompanied the film.

A shame, though she'd been in terrible health for quite some time. I'm guessing Sean Connery won't be far behind.

Probably the first true (and still biggest) female movie star. I'll admit I haven't seen a majority of her films, must get a hold of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" one of these days.

Geraldine Ferraro, the U.S.'s first-ever female VP candidate, dies at 75.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/weigel ... -2011.aspx

On the good side, she attained something no woman had ever done before in politics...on the bad she also gave rise to people like Pelosi, Clinton, and Palin. Ugh. She was also unfortunately on the losing end of the biggest trouncing in electorate history.

And so are Nubain, Oxycontin, cocaine and Rohypnol. All part of the professional wrestler's supplement kit.

RIP Gordon Tootoosis. Americans might remember his role in Legends of the Fall. To Canadians he was quite familiar.
