They have already started posting his real songs and albums. Nobody can get paid to stop the posting. All of Prince's resources are now tied up in probate.

I wouldn't say the new Drake is a classic by any means, but the dancehall tracks like One Dance are superb.

Anyone ever heard of Fink? Might be my tuneage of choice once I enjoy a rare few beers on the new porch.

Genre: Blues, dub, folk, indie

Here is Pilgrim

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRjm9dupL1k

And then Shakespeare

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrtTke5KvgA

The original songs are much longer and Pilgrim in particular has a wonderful crescendo arrangement that you will only find on the 7 minute version.

Damn, great pick. Might be my favorite Hip song of all, especially the Live Between Us version.

Awful news :(

Got to hang with Darryl "DMC" McDaniels yesterday and he was incredibly nice and generous with his time.

Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC talks about how Sarah McLachlan saved his life.

Currently on a Tame Impala phase ever since I saw the promo for Donald Glover's new show.

I think I might try going through this thread and create a playlist.

Have to say I am not thrilled with either of Peter Gabriel's 2016 offerings thus far.

I listened to Licensed to Ill today. While most of the lyrics are dumb, the talent was certainly obvious.

When I am not listening to Gordon Lightfoot, April Wine, Pre 1979 Scorpions or the new Metal Church over and over

I have been checking out Ghost.....yeah its a little weird......and the lyrics are definitely enough to piss off the uptight Americans.

But the music is tight....and damn it I think Dave Grohl plays drums!

Check out Year Zero:

or even better

Written long before this admin. The video is a little weird, but Sick of it All have always nailed political music.

Went on a big power-pop binge last night while trying to trudge through another lame proposal for a government agency. Ugh.

Hey Erik, is Lennoxville far from where you reside? A girl by the name of Lily Vance is there. If you're looking for a musician to profile she might be of some interest to you.
