Oh..

And whatever Kawhi likes.

I like that too.

Doesn't matter what it is.

I think his favorite song is "I'm Goin' to the Clippers" by some indie band.

Straight out of Calgary! Riot City.....bringing back 80s metal! If you listen hard enough maybe he's screaming Kawhi...or maybe that's just Theo for the hall. An entire record of Halfordesque Odin shrieking can be a bit much for me....but I'll take it as I can hear the Maiden influence in the background. What type of f'n knob doesn't like some 80s metal anyway?

Do it like Johnny!

As always, when I hit a bad funk in terms of music listening I go back to The Man, Peter Gabriel. Apologies if this comes off as a repeat post...I'm sure Bosc will tell me if it is or not.

Us remains, to me, his magnum opus, while So was his most commercially viable and vibrant album. But it's his oft-ignored 2nd album that might be my favorite, because it's one I'm still trying to figure out. It's far and away his least commercial, so I suppose if one were to compare him to Bowie this would be his "Lodger." What I like about it is that he pushes his vocals to their limits on this one. A lot of very progressive/pop sort of experimentation. He explores some very dark ideas but then offsets it a bit with this tongue-in-cheek ditty.

Tried listening to some Gabriel-era Genesis after listening to this album all the way through--that stuff just doesn't click for me on the same level as his solo material. The Gabriel/Genesis divorce is one of the few in pop/rock history where both parties ended up better off after the split.

Oops...I seriously did not know that "Blinded by the Light" was originally a Springsteen tune until the previews for the upcoming movie came out. I always thought it was a Manfred Mann song...

That's fun as hell. :Butch: :Butch: :Butch: :Butch:

Back on my synthwave kick--I'm just always going to be stuck in the 80s no matter what. Currently jamming out on Com Truise, but there are so many winners in this particular genre. My faves are probably OGRE, Timecop 1983, Lazerhawk, and Perturbator. Not sure if Kavinsky counts but put him on the list if so.

This has got to be one of the greatest things I have ever seen!

I remember back seeing Bang Camaro many years ago and they do something like this but on a much smaller scale. I just remember watching it and being like that is f'n awesome.....I want to go join Bryn on stage! But this is even better.

The world would be a nicer place if we could all just get together and jam party!

Even the Nirvana video was pretty good and I am not a big fan.

Here we go! Rage for the World......Killing In The Name Of...........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWjcAssiPZM

Thanks for sharing this! :mulletbutch:

What would a full two-hour concert of Billie Eilish even be like? I can't even imagine what she'd sound like live.

According to my 21 year old daughter, Awesome. She had a concert in Toronto this past June and said she was incredible. I can not believe how she signs so well at her age.

New Tool for the first time in 13+ years. I didn't pull the trigger on the insane $60+ Cdn special CD/screen thing. We will see if I will regret that decision. I want the vinyl.

King Crimson on streaming! With Peter Gabriel, Tool and KC now on there, who are the remaining holdouts?

A propos to any era, any time.

Quote:
THE FEAR

I feel fear
Of all the stupid things
A man could feel
While his freedom rings
He squanders the deal
What am I, blind?
What took me this long?
Can we hit rewind
On somebody's magic bong? Oh

Come back and touch my face
Feel for fever in the night
You look into my eyes
But you don't really recognize me anymore

Passed another pointless year
Foaming at the mouth
I with my hands ever up
And yours stretching out
I know I've run out of luck
This fear is a terrible drug
If I only had sense enough
To let it give way to love

Come back and touch my face
Feel for fever in the night
You look into my eyes
But you don't really recognize me anymore

No, not anymore
Not anymore

Post Malone isn't usually my jam, but I really dig this tune. The video is pretty well done too.

Not that I dig Lit, but this came on the radio Saturday night during some strange DJ-mix type deal. Had completely forgotten about this song and initially thought it was Eve 6.
