It's a mellow, Donovan morning for me.

"Mellow is the feeling that I get,
When I see her, mmmm,
When I see her, oh yeah.
That's the time, that's the time,
I love the best."

Much improved over that insipid 'Rock and roll train' garbage. That sounded like everyone is giving around 75-80% throughout the whole fucking song. Way to phone it in, guys... This one, they at least put the drum machine on at full strength.

A grizzly scene on my electron beam
Told a story about human rights
So all of King's horses and all of King's men
Had a riot for two days and nights
Well, the city exploded but the gates wouldn't open
So the company asked him to quit
Now everybody's equal
Just don't measure it

Well, Hanson did it to Hester
And Mark David did it to John
And maybe Jack did it to Marilyn
But he did it to South Vietnam
For beauty and glory
For money, love, and country
Now everybody's doing it
Don't do that to me

A bitter debate and a feminine fate
Lie in tandem like two precious babes
While the former gets warmer, it's the latter that matters
Except on the nation's airwaves
And custodians of public opinion stayed back
After vainly discussing her rights
Lay hands off her body
It's not your fucking life

Now I don't know what stopped Jesus Christ
From turning every hungry stone into bread
And I don't remember hearing how Moses reacted
When the innocent first born sons lay dead
Well, I guess God was a lot more demonstrative
Back when he flamboyantly parted the sea
Now everybody's praying
Don't pray on me

Brad Paisley's "Play", just released, is a mainly instrumental album featuring Buck Owens, Steve Wariner, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and B.B. King. However, the first single, "Start a Band", features Brad and Keith absolutely shredding on the guitar, as well as their top flight vocals. Money...

The Sex Pistols "No Fun":

^ I like that preformance cause its the last song they played. Johnny Rotten said it truly was no fun cause he knew it was over when this song ended and his line at the end is him saying he has been cheated.

Different preformnace of same song in some dump in England. I love it because Steve Jones starts throwing punches at somebody in the audience mid song hits them with his guitar. Sid Vicious' face is busted up from a woman hitting him with a bottle earlier in the night, he's sooo fucked up they don't even have him plugged in.... just all around good stuff:

Just heard some new Metallica ... Day that never dies? Is that what it's called? And Appocales (or however it's spelled).

Pretty rockin' stuff though .... Guitars are not as "tin'ie" sounding as they were on the last album.
