Wise......by the time I moved out here and saw bands that I followed....they were shadows.....Probably one of the worst concerts I have ever seen was Motley Crue, Leppard and Styx (the best one out of the lot)......and that was some years ago. They are touring again this year...I can only imagine how bad that is! That would take a lot of $15 beers to be enjoyable.
Traveling up to Calgary to see the Tea Party at the Native Casino was also terrible....the carpet smelled like a funky dishwasher (ass and feet) and Tea Party was certainly not at their best.
I saw Dirty Heads and Stick Figure up at Red Rocks this year. Stick Figure was just ok but the Dirty Heads were pretty good.
Maiden was excellent, as always, just really pricey. I had a fantastic time with the Family and that's what it was all about for me.
I am fortunate to have seen a full scale Roger Waters the Wall production (while he was still good), Black Sabbath (all the old boys) and Fleetwood Mac (the full original lineup). So keep doing what you are doing because the prime ends pretty fast for touring acts.
How was the IME concert? My wife really liked them back in the day.

Really enjoyed it. Edwin is fantastic as a frontman, they've got a such a great live sound imo. The additonal percussion and keys and everything really comes out live. I didn't see them pre-breakup so I was surprised at just how good Edwin was the first time I saw him and he was great this time as well. When they play with him, they only play the first two albums which were massive in Canada. Long songs and Jag loves to play the shit out of his guitar so it's very different than Sloan pumping out 17 songs in an hour. IME played 9, but they vary it and they don't only play singles which is great. They opened with Pisser this time, which is a fucking banger.
The show that they played with both singers was incredible and one of my favorite shows I've ever been to. I hope they do it again, or at least play with Brian again because I really enjoy those two albums as well.
I didn't record a whole lot because I was behind only one person at the front, but here are a few short clips.
We had tickets to see Tea Party, Big Wreck, Moist and the Headstones but covid happened and didn't see the show. Saw Tea Party back at Edgefest 99 and 00 when I was really into their first two albums. They were great, but I really didn't get into any of their stuff after Splendor Solis and Edges of Twilight.
In 1991 Ozzy Osbourne came out with No More Tears, and then announced the "No More Tours" tour, which of course was followed by the "Retirement Sucks" tour.
Well, some 31 years later, this time Ozzy says he's for sure done. He canceled his "No More Tours II" tour.
I heard he hasn't been great on stage for some time now. Should've seen him in the 90s when he was still in his (relative) prime and I was still young.
