I'll be there this Monday. My friends are working in the Festival Sayulita, so I'll be spending more time there.

Dang. That'd be rad to hook up. I take it you're no longer there.

We are heading to Bucerias on Wednesday to celebrate She Who Must Be Obeyed"s birthday on Thursday. Her, me, my parents, my sister in law are meeting up with the brother in law and his wife who winter down there. She doesn't know it yet but we are going to the Luna Lounge to see a Roy Orbison impersonator. If you get a chance to see the Crazy Bitches show at the Luna Lounge, do so because it's hilarious. I think the CBs show is on Tuesdays.

Picked up a used copy of Assassin's Creed 2(I had already played through it once) to vicariously relive parts Italy vacation.

Tomorrow we leave for Dubrovnik, Croatia where we will be doing a long stay at one of the resort hotels during the off season. We're going to Montenegro, Mostar and Sarajevo in B-H, Split, Korkula, Dalmatia and I'm hoping we can book a day to Plitvice Lakes (look it up on Google Earth) as well. Be gone for 3 weeks.

Off to Ireland for 2 weeks. Leaving on a new flight, from our local airport, which finally turned international. It's a former US Army base, turned commercial airport. I did quite a bit of environmental work there to allow the lengthening of the runways to accommodate larger planes. Now I'll benefit from that, by traveling 45 minutes to the airport, instead of the usual 2 traffic-plagued hours to JFK. Wahoo!
Later!

Wicked - have some pints on us! Yeah that JFK run is no fun no matter where you start off in NY.

Doing my part for Canada's 150 and seeing the three provinces I've never been to. Halifax next weekend (21st-23rd), then Cape Breton Island, PEI and finally New Brunswick before flying back on the 31st.

Haven't spent time in Quebec (other than a brief crossing into Hull from Ottawa) or BC this year yet, but I hit up both last year and will make it to Quebec in the fall with the Rocket now there. Might get to sneak into BC in August when in the mountains. It's actually possible, if I do so, that Saskatchewan will be the 10th province I set foot in during 2017 since I'm flying to Alberta first for camping in Lake Louise....

January: Ontario (every month), Manitoba, Newfoundland
March: Manitoba, Quebec (2-3 hours)
April: Newfoundland
July: Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick
August: Alberta, (B.C.?), Saskatchewan
October: Quebec (Hallowe'en!)
November: Quebec
December: Quebec again (Dec 8/9 weekend)

I was planning on boycotting the Rocket as long as Sly remained coach, but if you ever have an extra day in the Laval/Montreal area I'd be down to swing by and root for Scherbak.

We always stay in town the night before the game. So... we get a night out on Hallowe'en in Montreal for our Nov 1 game... yeah, that can't be good
