Started too a couple years ago and realized to get anywhere it would require a time sink I was not able to give it and quickly moved on.

Heh...I started playing Phantom Pain again since my basement connection was way more stable and didn't have much else to play(though I do have a used copy of PS3 Red Dead Redemption I haven't played yet) and I've sunk a bunch of time into it farming and just letting it run processing resources. For what? I dunno...endgame weapons? 100% completion?

I have found these videos very helpful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIePkvJ ... KjesMdCUvJ

There's also some cheats that you can enable like unlimited fuel that can help. I escaped way too far into orbit with no fuel left so I enabled it, then got to re-entry, but somehow my decoupler had been removed while editing so I crashed anyways.

I like it. I'm still too fearful of taking on some high-altitude or orbiting contracts because I'm not confident enough, but I'm decent enough to safely return on practice runs.

Got hard into KSP. Haven't set up any bases on other moons/planets but I rescue the shit out of the little kerbals.

Kerbal Space Program 2 just announced. Fuck yes. The trailer is glorious.

Picked up Elite:Dangerous because of the serious space bug I picked up with KSP. Haven't started it yet.

Will do. I'm going to try it with the mouse and keyboard but I already feel like I want to pick up one of these. We'll see.

Harms are you on PC? We should get through the training and play a group together.

Jealously watching everyone playing their new Switches.

I just want a few free hours to play Shenmue 3.

What a great game. Something about facing your first horde is a piece of gaming history in my opinion. I only ran into 1 game breaking glitch the entire time during a side mission which was doable after 15 attempts of staying the hell away from the bugged part of the map. I don't like Zombie shit but this was a great story line with interesting life questions for adult gamers. It is a Sony exclusive and that's too bad.

I have Elite Dangerous on the PS4Pro...not sure if you can cross platform to PC...I went to fire it up the other day but it wanted all these downloads and then I got distracted.....I'll get it setup.

Finally played Fortnite. I can see why the kids love it, it's addictive. Easy to get into and each battle is different.

Ran through the training program last night. Not sure about this one.....may be a time filler until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out. Probably still continue trying to play the Witcher 2.

I tried some Elite Dangerous training...not sure how much I'll get into this one without a HOTAS. It's probably been 20 years since I played something with a flight stick.

Bought The Outer Worlds, from the guys who brought Fallout: New Vegas to the world, from the Epic store for 50% off.

Harmy, the Epic store on PC has Assassin's Creed Syndicate for free right now. Just need an account to claim it. Did you play that one before?

Yes, speaking of, I have rediscovered AC Odyssey after purchasing the season pass and forgetting about it for a year. A lot of additional gameplay for one of my favorite games. Big Sexy Alexios is back to kicking ass!

Just finished the Atlantis Expansion which is essentially another AC game. What an amazing way to tie in a story of Advanced Pre-cursor civilizations all the way back to AC2. AC as a series is a beautiful tale of cycles, ages of man and the unending quest for redemption, value and purpose that can transcend dimensions, species and time. While at times the short story line outside of the Animus has been filler, the world inside the Animus is rich and educational for a video game (play the discovery modes). I can't think of any other console game where you can put in 200 Plus hours and still want to go back (shout out to Dragon Age Inquisition at 110 plus). They don't always knock it out of the park (Syndicate, Origins, Unity, AC3) but they do stay true to close representation and story telling.

If you had asked me in the past I was always a Mass Effect, Dragon Age guy but over the past 5 years the AC franchise has really elevated its game. Bravo Ubisoft! Can't wait for Gods and Monsters.

If you are looking for something to keep you indoors and Virus free for a while, take a ride with AC Odyssey.

With no hockey for the foreseeable future- any chance you dust off the old OTP league from the lockout days?
