Playing Fallout 3 right now. I'm terrible at it and dying far too often. Pretty sick game, I'll stick with it.

Anyone play Far Cry 2? I still have the wrapper on it and I can't wait to tackle it after FO3.

Dead Space looks awesome too.

Assholes didn't release World Tour on PC so NHL08 it is. Thinking about getting FO3 and GTA IV is out next month.

Am thinking about curbing my console gaming appetite given the state of the economy (not to mention my 401k). I still haven't started GTAIV. And GOW2 is just around the corner... I think I'll wait for Santa to gift that to me...

Played Fable II yesterday for 5 hours. I'll probably not play it again for a little while. It's pretty simple so far, only one real challenge in it and that's mainly because I'm a complete rookie to the game. But quite fun, I don't do RPG's very often.

saints row 2 is pretty sweet, i'm on the middle of three difficulties and its tougher than GTA IV

that said, it does freeze from time to time...

How does it stack compared to Saints Row 1? Difficulty aside, is there a good combination of missions? Interesting storylines?

I'm debating giving this one a try.

Great game. Much like GTA they've added new features and improved hte old ones. There is a "ho-ing" feature where you have to move the joystick to get the girl to... er... climb the mountain so to speak... solid solid game... you can pimp out your pads, buy businesses and get a cut of the action... I'd def recommend it...

Agreed. I'm fucking around in stage editor right now. I can't come up with anything nearly as cool as the stuff I've seen so far. The Mirror's Edge level I played was amazing.

Futureshop online has a couple hundred WII's available right now if anyone is looking. They suppose to be hard to come by again this holiday season?

EDIT: Oh crap they had 197 available twenty minutes ago and they are gone already.

Broke down and bot GOW2 last weekend - had $40 in Best Buy rebates burning a hole in my pocket so I figured, why not? But I still haven't removed the shrink wrap on it; haven't fired up GTAIV either. And I'm curious about Fallout 3 - it's supposed to be better on the '360.

All I want for Christmas? Time. :argh:

Just finished Fallout 3 on the PS3 recently - big mistake. There were so many sidequests and skills I had yet to learn, but by beating the game I can't exactly go back. I think when I get a week off I'll start playing all over again. Fallout 3 will consume your life. Oblivion fans will love it even more.

GOW2 is fun - the single player mode has some jaw dropping scenes. Best looking game ever.

Oh boy, dunno if I should pick it up then...I played Oblivion when I had plenty of time to kill :x

I'm still thinking of picking up Bioshock or GOW for the PC...and never got around to playing much of Vice City.

Just played my first co-op game of left4dead (for the PC). Most fun I've had at the computer in a long time- I'm not sure if it is purely game mechanics or just the zombie movie setting, but that is the most co-operation I've seen from four random people on the internet, ever.

It actually played out like a real zombie move, too. I left one of my friends to a grisley zombie death in order to save my own skin, only to get caught and dragged down by the horde just feet from the army rescue vehicle right at the end, dying horribly as the last two survivors jumped in and speed away to saftey.
