Habs finally score first. Hell of a baseball swing by Gallagher.

Slim lead and getting badly outshot. Now we're playing Habs hockey!

Man, Markov aging is not good news for the Habs. But whatever. Onto the next one.

Markov was atrocious tonight, but he was fine during the season. The pace of the playoffs too much for him? Maybe he'll adjust and be fine in the next round.

I'd love to see Beaulieu come back and make a play for that spot alongside Subban. I think he has it in him.

Carey was bound to steal a game for the Habs. Picked a good one.

The team has no offence, though. Even if the team plays a perfect defensive game or Carey stands on his head, it might not be enough. It's worrisome, but Pacioretty had his best game of the series tonight, and everyone in the top six is capable of more (and Eller).

Egad, this frickin' club had 18,000 D prospects. Surely Thrower, Tinordi, etc. will be ready and allow Markov to play a depth/specialist role.

Thrower couldn't crack the AHL roster regularly. Tinordi had surgery and is out til next year. Pateryn is all the Habs have for options and they're already using him.

Injured D: Beaulieu, Tinordi, Drewiskie, Allen. All LD.

Healthy LHD: Markov, Emelin, Gonchar. Habs need Beaulieu back in Round 2 at some point for sure.

Crazy to think that Markov got 50 points this season.
