For the 7th overall pick and Anthony DeAngelo. Maybe more involved, says Elliotte. So are the Yotes going for it or what? |

Well, I guess that takes care of the "no No. 1 center" debacle. Step's a good player but I always felt he was a little underwhelming as a top line C. Raanta's not their #1 goalie, is he!? |

Stepan's not a true no. 1, which given his AAV is why the Rangers were keen to move him. They'll use that money elsewhere. Radulov? Hanzal? |

They still NEED Stome to be the guy they hoped when drafted. If he can be your legit number one C then all the moves today really slot in nice. |

I think ARZ is in for a big disappointment. Who knows, maybe he'll have a breakout season this upcoming year. That defensive corps though...looks very nice. |

I think the Rangers assumed they'd lose Raanta in the expansion draft, and when they didn't they say him as expendable. |
