Big game tonight. Habs got walloped earlier in the season by the Rags.

That jagoff goalie killer Kreider goes after PK and PK doesn't bite, yet they both get minors. A complete joke.

Tip to beating Lundqvist: shoot from a bit far out and he's back in his crease. Granted, he'll still stop it more than likely, but the odds are better than trying to beat him up close. Patches shot a knuckler and it was enough to seal the win.

Price and Lundqvist were both ridiculous tonight. Reason enough to predict a conference final rematch. Felt like the playoffs tonight: tight and tense.

Another reason I was pleased with tonight: in those big games that count, the Habs really do come together as a team. The defence was sharp (Beaulieu is leagues ahead of where he was before he was sent down) and Gallagher had one of his most inspired performances, despite being held pointless.

I wouldn't go that far! That said, it does expose him a bit more than other goalies to longer shots, but staying back should help on deflections, gives you that split second advantage to react.
