Ryan Strome has been struggling. 1 G & 4 A on the season, which doesn't sound bad, but he's often looked lost and has admitted his confidence is not where it should be. I guess he's still on an entry level contract & can be sent down without waivers. I thought after 100 NHL games players had to pass through waivers, but he's playing in Bridgeport tonight, so I guess not.
Capuano has been fucking with the lines far too much. Strome has been on like 6 different line combinations already this year. I think a kid like him needs consistency, not new linemates as often as drawers.
He's a +1 in Bridgeport's game going into the 3rd. No points so far. In interviews Strome has said it's an obstacle in his development, and he'll take it like a pro, and prove that he belongs back in the NHL. Spoken like a true pro, now play like one. I have no doubt he will. When he's on a consistent line.
