If the article said how long this clown had been their team doctor I don't recall it. But I remember Dennis Vaske coming back from concussions too early, SEVERAL times. That was in the late 90s.
In the last 10 years or so I blamed the trainers for several years with the Isles ranking among the league leaders in man-games lost to injury. Maybe the doctor had some more to do with it. This guy is more likely to have been involved with that than with Vaske's issues. It's amazing how teams will get to know everything possible about a kid they are thinking of drafting or trading for, but apparently don't do any research on the staff who will be responsible for their well-being. Or is that just the Isles?
