Habs are 8 back of Florida, and have played 3 more games. Habs have been wretched against the bottom feeders this season, so don't expect the Devils to be an easy bucket.

Have lost both times to the Devils this year. You are correct, they beat the good teams and lose to the bottom feeders.

Flu ravaging both locker rooms. Habs skipped a full practice day yesterday to keep it from spreading. Lindgren in tonight. Subban out with a virus for the Devs, Domingue in. Battle of the right glove goalies.

Of course Thompson and Cousins scored after I crapped on CJ for over-relying on them.

Caught the 3rd period.

The Habs pull out a narrow SO win after clawing back from a 3-0 deficit sparked by a SHG in the 2nd period by Armia.

What's the present timbre in Montreal? Is the word on the street that the Habs can bootstrap themselves into a wild card spot? They are 8 points back of WC2 2 with 2 games to give to Philly.

My point still stands! They're replacement-level players and should only be played if you're planning on shopping them!

The organization is 100% of the belief they can make the playoffs. Fans and media are more level-headed in this case, understanding that even a monster run with Drouin back will likely not be enough.

There's a Team Tank in Montreal, but they're more a vocal minority. They're also too far ahead to really tank, as the Devils and Wings have that on lock.

Completely agree, as I mentioned in the kotkaniemi thread.
