Lebrun says Panthers are out because they wanted a shot at re-signing Hall. Either they're posturing or the Devils are kinda screwed. |

Someone pointed out that it's kinda funny the same GM who claimed he gave away Jonathan Marchessault for literally nothing because he feared the cost of a future contract would be too much is pissed that he wasn't given the chance to throw dump trucks full of cash at Taylor Hall. Sure hope for his sake that Shero doesn't overplay his hand here. Sure looks like he's coming close. If indeed the AZ package is Raanta, a 1st, and prospect Kevin Bahl, I don't know why he's hesitating. He's not going to get a prime-time prospect in exchange for a rental. |
