I really like the old Devils jerseys (not that the NewNew JerseyJerseys are bad), so it'll be nice to see them again. They look very minor-league in today's ridiculous fashionista NHL, even if the Wild have gone with quite a similar design (for whatever reason, I like the Devil ones a lot more... perhaps just because I really like Minnesota's original green shirts).

Why only one night? Are they that atrocious?

This'll only be cool if they also wear the green pants and helmets.

They're not atrocious at all; I think it's just Lamoriello trying to balance his general disapproval of third jerseys with the reality that they'll probably sell a few of these. And the fact that he can justify it by tying it to St. Patrick's Day.

Awesome...I used to hate those jerseys growing up but in today's red/blue/black only NHL they're very distinct.
