I'm way more promiscuous than that when it comes to hockey teams. Especially now that mine's morphed into an on-ice product that makes Todd Richards' Minnesota squads look like the 1980s Edmonton Oilers.

:bandwagon:

Look out, Staind18, I think I just gave your Isles the Clap with all the Nino-love I've been giving them!

Mar. 14 he'll meet with KHL officials about the state of his contract with Ufa. By Mar. 15 we'll know if he'll be joining Nashville.

The Preds adding a top line winger before the playoffs is potentially huge. Radulov is point per game, maybe better than that, good. Will be interesting to see how he would adapt this late in the year, though.

I know the cap isn't an issue in Crashville, but is Radulov allowed to show up after the deadline and play on their playoff roster? Didn't Sather try that with a few Fins in Edmonton, only to have the rules re-written to stop him?

There is a December 1st deadline for RFAs without a contract. Radulov has a year left on his deal, so I'm not sure what rules, if any, apply.

Radulov is simply suspended for violation of his contract. It's a team issue. He shows up, team lifts the suspension, and he plays under the terms negotiated back in 2006 for his ELC.

The league should rule against him returning because his team plays in the same division as my favorite team.

Is Radulov related to Colin Campbell in any way by chance?

Nashville didn't win the Cup in 06-07 or 07-08, so I doubt it.

Now all they need to do is locate a fax machine in Ufa.

My guess is he gets back in, finishes his ELC with Nashville, and gets traded to Toronto.

Incidentally, can either of the Tits brothers or Radulov play center? It'd be kinda cool to see a Kostitsyn - Radulov - Kostitsyn line or something like that, even though I think Trotz would rather die than put out a line like that.

Poile and Trotz still pretty mum about the whole thing, basically not getting their hopes up unless/until they see Rads in a Preds uniform and on the ice. Goes to show just how badly they felt they were burned in the entire fiasco.

Radulov and Sergei have the playmaking skills of a centre, I'd think Sergei has more of the defensive accumen you'd want in that position if you were going to switch someone.

But I somehow think they'll keep them all at wing. :)

Not that I know anything about line combinations in Nashville, but just to give an idea:

SKostitsyn-Fisher-Erat
AKostitsyn-Legwand-Radulov
Smith-Wilson-Hornqvist
Halischuk-Gaustad-Tootoo

That's a pretty deep lineup.
