Good for him. I'm glad his "strong but silent" personality didn't prevent him from seeking help. Dude probably carries a lot on his shoulders, and I'm not really talking about hockey. I can only imagine how things like the Canadian Residential Schools affects his community and by extension himself.

Even if you forget everything Carey's done at the rink, I consider him a hero just for what he's brought and continues to do for the Indigenous communities in Canada.

It takes guts to admit you need help. All the best to him, hopefully others will see this and seek that help for themselves if they need it.

Saw this on Twitter this morning; I hope he gets the help and support he needs. It's never too late to admit you need help.

Price admits he entered the program due to a long-standing substance abuse problem. Kudos for being open about it, I think it did a lot of good in helping others with their own problems.

Price had a setback with his surgically repaired knee, but as recently as last week resumed skating again. Now he's back in the gym and Hughes said there's "a possibility" he'll play this season.

Bummer for him, was hoping he'd get some reps in.

Update on Price: "His off-ice rehab is progressing and he's doing better, but he's not ready to return to the ice for the coming week."

Translation: He really wants to come back this season for a game or two, but it's still unclear.

Hughes was pretty blunt today: they don't expect Price to play this season, there's been no progress on his knee, and later added that only surgery could possibly extend his career, but they're not there yet. Sounds like the end of the line for number 31. What a crappy way to go.
