I'd love it. I am not a fan of trash talking. Maroon's jabs at Anderson are very public and it's only going to encourage kids to do it if Tampa wins. I'd love to see him eat those words and have Tampa fans turn on him for it.

I'm surprised I haven't read anything about the difference in travel fatigue between Mtl and TB.
TB to NY, Car, and FL (lol) is pretty less taxing than Mtl to TO, WPG and LV.

Congratulations Tampa and I’m very sorry Habs fans. A great and unlikely run - tough way to lose after so much blood, sweat and tears. Simply put, the Bolts we’re the better team.

I can say first hand I know what it feels like to lose a SCF for Canadian team in this era.

The silver lining is that this Habs team is built for the playoffs and has a great young core with a bright future.

At the same time you just never know if or when they will be back to the dance. Hopefully sooner rather than later, at least for Carey Price who I have tonne of respect for.

It was a ride. Was hoping for a top four finish at the start of the season, so expectations were exceeded - but boy it still sucks lol

Ah, bummer. Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.

Had the time of my life writing about the team for the newspaper, obviously the run was unexpected but no complaints here.

The old guys and young guys brought enough to the table to make it happen. We'll see what happens with Price and Weber going forward, but I feel confident saying the team has winners in Suzuki, Caufield and Kotkaniemi. I think they can win with those guys eventually.
