Your guess is as good as mine how good this dude will be, and how soon. He's got an interesting toolkit: smallish but sturdy, solid skater, hits indiscriminately and isn't afraid to jump on offence. He's got offensive upside and defensive acumen, but we don't know how much he'll realize in either category.

Timmins loves him. Drafted him early in the 2nd when other teams hadn't even seen him. Looked crazy good in his first North American tournament.

I'd imagine they dangled him a starting job in order for him to leave Moscow. He played for the big club there for two years and only played muted minutes because they knew he was leaving. That's impressive for a 20 year old.

One of the more interesting prospects to come to Montreal in a while. He might play with Joel for a bit, which would be nice, but knowing the Habs, they'll rush him.
