Might actually attend this one in person. Wife scored tickets through work but we may not get down there in time to make it worth our while.

That and parking is expensive. And the beer. And the food.

Wow, didn't realize Mete hadn't scored a goal until now.

Suzuki also scored his first NHL goal. Took a few less games than Quicksilver Mete Dream.

The Minnesota Mild are a horrible team. Like fire the coach after this game horrible.

Gabby deserves so much better than this. Unfortunately this'll be the third time he's been sacked. He's had the misfortune of working for three of the worst GMs in the league, two of whom worked in Minnesota.

I was at the game in the end. Pretty chill atmosphere after the Habs went up early. Team was skating well, no one really stood out besides Gallagher and Petry in his own zone.

Weber left the game? I missed that after his penalty.

Habs played Minny again on Sunday and lost, but they had the lead and nearly beat them after playing Saturday in St Loo. Minny, on the other hand, were well rested and angry after their shellacking in Montreal Thursday, so the fact that the Habs kept it close is commendable.

Chiarot and Fleury together on the bottom pairing adds a physical element to the defence without sacrificing too much talent and speed. Fleury is still green but could be a good one. I don't hate Chiarot so far but I think even his limited puck moving skills were oversold upon arrival. He's good at punishing guys behind the net and in the corner, and can win a puck battle back there and remove the puck from harm's way, but he does it somewhat laboriously. Glad Kulak is back up with Petry: he's made mistakes so far but he's pretty dynamic and can do a lot of good as well. That's the clear top pairing.

After leaning on Suzuki and Kotkaniemi on Saturday and getting positive results on the powerplay, Julien didn't really go back to them a day later. Were they showing noticeable fatigue? Possibly.
