The guy does not take nights off. Having him and Gallagher around, you know you're getting at least some effort every time out.

Finally taking some nights off after a sterling 90-game intro with the Habs. Three points in his last 10, taking a bunch of bad penalties in the process. I think he's feeling the stress of heightened expectations.

That's like Larkin. Having those types of guys(and especially on a losing squad like Detroit) but with offensive talent too is absolutely huge.
