Out goes Eller, in comes Shaw. Call it a draw. Still need scoring. |

Personally I like Shaw, he's a heck of a player and an upgrade over Eller - but yes he's not going to pot 30 next year that's for sure. |

Shaw looks a hell of a lot like Ramsey Boulton. |

Shaw's in the fold and it's likely they'll add someone else: gunning for Stamkos but settling for a Perron type. Their top six is currently: Galchenyuk, Plekanec, Pacioretty, Gallagher, Shaw, Desharnais |

I just realized the number one D pairing is Markov-Weber. That's going to be disastrously slow. |

And they still haven't figured out their problems up the middle. Plekanec and Desharnais are still two of your top three. And you just moved Eller, who took a lot of tough d-zone starts. Bergevin said Danault's "emergence" made the Eller trade easier, which is borderline delusional. |

Not really sure what the lines will look like: Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher Lehkonen*-Plekanec-Radulov Carr-Desharnais-Shaw Byron-Danault-Andrighetto Mitchell Beaulieu-Weber Markov-Petry Emelin-Pateryn Barberio, Redmond Price Montoya *wishful thinking that he swoops in and solves all the team's myriad problems |

Galchenyuk's probably next to go: http://www2.tsn.ca/bardown/Story.aspx?A ... &id=583890 Same deal as PK: jerked around and not trusted by management, got the bridge deal, no extension in sight. If Galchenyuk doesn't get an extension this offseason, he's going to be hella expensive next year when he's an RFA. |

Looks like the Habs have their team. How are they going to split up the offence? Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Carr Shaw-Plekanec-Gallagher Lehkonen-Desharnais-Radulov Andrighetto-Mitchell-Danault Beaulieu-Weber Markov-Petry Emelin-Pateryn Price Al Meh. This team needs a few young players to bust through. |
