Byron and Emelin out, Semin and Pateryn in.

First time this season the Habs will dress their 7th D.

Don't know the D situation but Grigorenko will take the suspended Landeskog's place on the top line with Duchene and MacKinnon.

I don't know if the trade rumors got Duchene to play with a chip on his shoulder or if the move to right wing woke him up, but he's definitely playing tons better. Sure hope the Avs didn't overplay their hand here. He's been a loyal soldier since day one.

Read an article that says the Habs are doing well dumping it out of the zone and collecting it in the neutral zone because their forwards are so fast. If that's the case it's gonna be breakaway city tonight because Nick Holden might be the worst skater in the NHL. And yes, I'm counting John Scott on that list. Guenin is also slow, but his all around game is bad so it wouldn't matter if he kept up or not.

Won't be watching this one as I am currently out of the country. Will
Keep up via Twitter when I can though.

So far it sounds like the Habs are the better team but Condon is not having a good game.

It'll be absolutely hilarious if Blake Comeau ends up being the defensive/PK guy the Avs apparently thought Soderberg would be. I doubt that's the case (of course Soderberg ISN'T gonna be that guy either way) but so far he's stepped up big in crucial situations of late.

Well that was surprising. Avs didn't play the best game but they played well enough, and Berra is doing pretty good in relief of Varlamov.

The new top line of Grigorenko-MacKinnon-Duchene scored a ton against Montreal, and given COL's recent move to claim Chris Wagner sure seem like they want to keep him in the top six.

I was at a poker tournament yesterday, so I came to the game late. Saw it was 3-0 so I didn't bother to watch the rest.

Semin should have been more effective, then.
