But at least they didn't pick Pierre Maguire. Although that still means he'll be on TV, and around Saskatoon ruining my Christmas, I'm sure.

Shit, a lot of ex-Blades were UFAs this year: Wacey Rabbit, Joe Barnes, and Warren Peters were all available; and Ryan Keller signed in Ottawa back in May after playing in Europe for a couple of seasons. Thanks to Tallon's SNAFU, Outlook boy Logan Stephenson is also a UFA(well, that one might have been intentional). The Wild already had Gillies and former Blade goalie Anton Khudobin in their system. I totally would've signed all these guys and then spent most of my year as GM watching Houston Aeros games.
