By the looks of the injury I am hoping he is only out for this season. That was pretty gruesome.

It took at least two years for Stamkos to recover from his broken leg--some people might say he was never quite the same after that. One can only hope he recovers quickly but yeah, that looked REALLY bad.

By acquiring Sam Reinhart, the Cats now have three of the top four guys drafted in 2014. A Leon away from the full set.

One of the three, Sam Bennett, re-signed after a successful audition: 4 x 4.

I like that signing...decent value for a middle tier player. Damaged goods out of a poison environment but like a lot of other players that leave Calgary its not too late to have a good career.

I'm not a Montour fan (aka the guy Kadri called "a shitty fuckin' player on a shitty fuckin' team" during an Avs/Sabres tilt a while back) but I suppose he's a perfectly find RHD depth option.

Panthros have gone 2-2-1 since Q was ushered out. Part of that has to do with Bob going down with injury but they just don't look the same. I'm guessing Zito is at work looking for a replacement.

I'm assuming it'll be Torts, but we'll see. If they hire Babcock...hoo boy.

Goaltenders remain an enigma: Bobrovsky is having a fine season after a rough first two years into his mega deal. Might be the difference when the Southeast teams fight their way out of the East.

The Cats had Florida's own Kodak Black at the game and he got caught on video possibly fucking a girl in the luxury box next to the owners box. Might've been twerking but he said "enchilada in the pinata" afterwards.

They don't suck anymore, but the Cats were no match for their cross state rival. Outplayed every which way, including old fashioned determination.

They have few picks in the next three drafts, so time to take advantage of zero state income tax and keep the band together a few more years. Giroux might stay, Huberdeau might get a lifetime deal. Not sure about the rest of the depth guys (Marchment, Chiarot) since you gotta improve somewhere.

What's gonna happen in goal? Bob-Knight tandem again?
