Some good news before yet another epic tilt between these storied rivals: Jean Beliveau is feeling much better after being admitted to hospital earlier today.

It will be interesting to see how many snow birds will be in the crowd tonight, rooting on the Habs.

Price and Anderson devant les filets.

Finally, a convincing win in Sunrise. With the majority of the crowd on the Habs side, Carey Price looked good after giving up a terrible early goal. The Lapierre/Latendresse/Kostopoulos combo was aggressive and dictating play all night, long before Maxim was rewarded with a natural hat trick. Begin also took a nasty shiner from draft bust Anthony Stewart.

I was really interested in catching Nate Horton tonight, and he was a non-factor as expected. He clearly has major league talent but he's mailed it in for Deboer. Expect him to be dealt now that he's healthy. I would love to have him on my team.

Plekanec finally scored as well (on the PK). Lang had a good game even though he didn't show up on the scoresheet. He was setting up offence and giving his linemates numerous scoring chances. Gorges on the PP is cute but ultimately a bad idea - adding a RH PP shot is imperative if the Habs hope to contend. Our PP is still having trouble.

Overall a very solid game for the Habs in a barn where they have little success. Also, it was win 3 000 for the franchise. Yet another amazing milestone pour le Canadien.
