Sure was. Don't let the shot count fool you: Habs blew them away in quality chances. The big defence showed up last night and stuffed the two best offensive players in the league. Edmundson was hitting everything while Chiarot played a lot of minutes and kept the famed Oiler PP off the scoresheet.
The Habs have two lines clicking big time right now: Drouin and Anderson are magic together, they just seem to know where the other guy is at all times. Danault-Tatar-Gallagher have kept their chemistry going too.
Toffoli missed about a million chances, but he's always in the right place. Tatar is the forgotten man here with all the new additions, but he has a payday coming up and he's highly motivated.
