Well, at least you'd think MacTavish would actually stand up to Lowe if the two disagreed. Katz is so freakin' oblivious. And he doesn't even have a basketball team distracting him. |

I don't know. Doing nothing to fix things for years did nothing. Doing something is probably better. And no, it can't really get worse than 30, 30, 29, 25 or whatever it is this year. |

Oh, I think it can if the suckage continues. But sooner or later this team is going to stumble back into greatness. Nevertheless, the fact that it's MacTavish talking big like this would give me pause. He at least is talking like he wants to make the team grittier, which is definitely what they need. |

As long as you hold onto RNH, Hall, Yak and Eberle (and a notch below: Paarjarvi, Schultz, Klefbom, Dubnyk) and can get some people to play around them, you can turn this around fairly quickly without ruining everything. The only big decision is whether to deal Yakupov for an equal value young defenceman. Everything else can be jettisoned without causing too much longterm damage. |
