In any event, Avs played quite possibly their worst game of the season (and that's saying something) against the injured-and-freefalling-in-the-standings Wylde right before the All-Star Break. What's worse, news just broke that Matt Duchene's knee injury is worse than originally thought. He's now on "indefinite" status.

Another 2nd half swoon is the worst possible thing that could happen since there won't be a light at the end of the tunnel come draft day. I would hope some jobs would be lost if they even stumble out of the gate.

Andy's been suspended enough times that I'm surprised TSN hasn't used the headline before. Or have they?

Good news: Sutton did not end anyone's career last night.

Bad news: Avs lost again to another team in the midst of a death spiral. Not. Fucking. Acceptable.

Stastny and Hejduk really have been stinking the place up this year...losing Duchene sucks, but we need more from our senior forwards.
