Hossa fell into the boards ackwardly and hit his head after Polak hit him just after Hossa released a shot. Babs says everything is good, but he probably won't play against Colorado. He had missed the past two games with a neck injury.

Wings beat the Blues 5-0. Kopecky had a goal and two assists. Ericsson picked up an assist and played 17:33 in his season debut. Downey had a long tilt with Janssen halfway through the first.
