Defenseman, Simon Edvinsson, along with forwards Pontus Andreasson, Jonatan Berggren, Austin Czarnik, Cross Hanas, Matt Luff and Chase Pearson, defensemen Albert Johansson, Steven Kampfer, Jared McIsaac, Wyatt Newpower, Donovan Sebrango and Eemil Viro, and goaltender Victor Brattstrom. There are some waived players such as Givani Smith, goaltender, Jussi Olkinuora, and Taro Hirose. Most of those who were waived will likely end up in Grand Rapids after they clear waivers. A pleasant surprise is that Elmer Soderblom is staying up with Detroit for now. He had a really good camp / pre-season. Joe Veleno is also staying with Detroit.

Elmer Soderblom will be really interesting to watch. Just a giant of a kid with soft hands and great net awareness.

Was hoping Berrgren would make it but they signed a bunch of guys over the summer.
