Well, this won’t go on his career highlight reel, but hey, it’s the serif font-nameplate portion of the season, so it don’t count…

Seider and Raymond are already in-synch.

5 assists on the season and quickly endearing himself to fans after post-whistle stealing a puck from Hedman and not backing down from the retaliation, and then laughing at DeBrincat last night. Kid's got swagger.

Lots of talk on twitter and jokes about how old Michael Bunting is.

Bunting's got great numbers too. Call me a homer, but I think outside of the numbers and fancy stats Seider immediately becoming a #1 at his age should give him an edge. I think its more difficult to do what he's doing than Bunting is.

I'd love to see Detroit have a Calder winner after MacInnis stole one for Barret Jackman from Zetterberg, and they gave it to Tyler Myers instead of Jimmy Howard.

I really don't think Bunting will win but I can't stand the grousing about his age (jokes are kinda funny though). If you don't like the rules that define a rookie as 26 or younger, then lobby the NHL to lower the age...again. Until then, he's a rookie based on the rules in place.

The Calder is Mo's to lose at this point. He'll get it easily.

Sure wish Bo was giving Mo a run for his money for this trophy...but alas.

I'm being told that's some dude named Max Willman. Not a little guy either. Tried to make an impression as a post-Giroux scrub callup and ran into a brick wall.
