 Post subject: Jimmy Howard to Retire.

After 14 years Jimmy Howard is expected to announce his retirement from hockey. The 3 time NHL All-Star and Calder Trophy runner-up in 2010 could not catch on with another team after Detroit told him they would not be re-signing him last summer. Howard finishes his career with a 246-196-70 record, 24 shutouts and a .912 save percentage. Enjoy your retirement, Jimmy. Thanks for the memories.

Adjusted for inflation no goalie has ever had as bad a season as Jimmy Boy had last year. Feel bad that it ended like this for him, but it was a perfect storm of age, injuries, and a tanking team in front of him.

Yeah, everything that could have went wrong for him last year, did.
