Must win for the Habbos in the pizza oven.

The streaking Lehkonen opened the scoring.

Speak of the devil, AbFab ties it up with Larkin doing some dirty work.

Lindgren has been solid tonight, but my goodness the Habs are on the precipice of losing 3 against the league's worst team.

Frans Nielsen had one goal before tonight. Now he has two more. Yikes.

This is now 7 losses in a row, ALL BY ONE GOAL. and only one was an overtime loss. plus the eight losses prior to this.

They are BRUTAL this year in the one goal games. Yes injuries have hurt this team but they were a bubble team at best going into this.

I think that's the most depressing part of all this. The Habs were always going to need a few lucky bounces to get in, but we figured they'd at least be competitive. Drouin got hurt and this team folded like a cheap tent.

And they have been competitive, even with the injuries, but it always results in a one goal loss, which makes this even harder to stomach.

But you right, they needed "some bounces" that could have helped some of these losses. Last nights stings even more with blown leads and then losing the guaranteed OT point with just 3 minutes left.

The best part of this game occurred during the singing of the Canadian national anthem. Detroit's regular anthem singer Karen Newman's microphone malfunctioned during her singing of O Canada. The crowd in Detroit did not miss a beat and finished the song for her. I am really proud to be a Detroit Red Wings fan today.

Very cool!
I wonder how many other cities in the US could do this? Not sure how many Americans know the Canadian anthem.
