Mrazek made this save to preserve the tie, and the Wings turned it up the ice and scored for the game winner, 2-1 over San Jose.

Jakub Kindl on waivers. Wasn't expecting that.

Watch Tampa grab him.

I'd much rather have Kindl than Bodnarchuk.

Along with Marchenko and Ouellet exerting a lot of pressure from below with Grand Rapids.

2-1 win over the Ducks. Up against LA tonight to finish off the California trip.

Wings lose the back end of the consecutive games to the Kings, 3-2 with an empty netter. Jimmy got the start and played well by the sound of it.

Wings lost 4 - 2. Jimmy looked decent but he still can't control his rebounds.

The Nations Network announces the addition of Wings Nation. Doubt if will be as good as Canuck's Army but might be worth a look.

What the Nations Network like?

Not sure if the twitter announcement saying that Ryan Lambert is going to be a writer for Wings Nation was trolling or not.

Collection of bloggers for 6 teams, with a very fancy stats centered view point.

Wings come back from 2-0 to beat the Yotes 3-2 in OT. Datsyuk, Mrazek and Larkin are awesome.

Nyquist scored his first in a while. Z is slumping pretty hard.

I was very impressed with the Red Wings resilience in the Arizona game. Winning 5 out of 6 games on a west-coast road trip was beyond my wildest fantasies. Even more impressive was the fact that all the games, except for Los Angeles, were victories in one-goal differential games, Los Angeles would have been a one-goal game but for an empty net goal at the end. I think that this type of resiliency will hold us in good stead when the playoffs come around.

It was great to pick up 5 in 6 on the road. I believe that the Wings had a pretty heavy home schedule early on so grabbing some big points on the road is great.

On the downside, in the first half of the year they've won very few games by more than one goal and they've given up a lot of leads. Something to really keep an eye on in the second half.

Wings lose to the Bloos 2-1. Played well enough to drop Mrazek's sv% in the loss :x

Man, I wish I had known about the Buffalo game ahead of time since I was out visiting a friend in Niagara Falls that night. Could have left work early and went. :x

Win against the Sabres, loss against the Fucks and then a win last night against NYI.

It was a good way to head into the All-Star break. Mrazek was lights out. The kid should be the NHL Player of The Month and if he holds up at this pace, a serious Vezina candidate. His last 8 road games he has a 0.88 GAA and a 0.964 sp.
