Cole, Kindl and Sheahan were out last night. Wings pick up a needed 2 points with a 4-0 win against the Lightning with Mrazek getting the shutout.

Scary moment last night as the Silver Fox, Drew Miller, got cut in the face Ryan Stone's skate blade off of a faceoff. He got cut, went down, and then made a beeline off of the ice. Thankfully no damage to his eye. He was wearing a visor.

He's gonna have a Tony Montana-esque scar from that. Amazingly lucky it didn't damage the eye.

Right now, John Scott has as many goals as Tomas Jurco does. 2.5% evsh%. That's some bad luck.

His teammate Corsi is 4th worst among Red Wings forwards next to Glendening, Andersson and Miller. Because he has spent a lot of time with those guys. 4th worst ZS% on the team at 52.33, again only better than the checking line. CF of 55%. Seriously. Luke Glendening has 11 goals, and Jurco has 3. This is stupid.

Hoping for some good luck for him in the very near future.

Cole is donezo for the year, unfortunately.

Jurco is hurting, as is Abdelkader.

Landon Ferraro was called up for the Carolina game. nhl.com says that he played 14:09. I don't understand how that isn't a typo. He played that much while Pulkkinen played 6:54 and Weiss 7:46? Does Babcock absolutely love the kid? Wings are battling to keep their playoff position and he plays twice as much at even strength as Weiss?
