The reffing in this league is worse than WWF wrestling, there is no doubt in my mind that the NHL decides every year who they want to win the cup and then do every thing in their power tomake sure it happens, the league is definitely fixed and should be investigated for racketeering imo

I think AV is still sitting on the fence....probably uncomfortable for him like that, we'd be doing him a favour.

How can Schneider be so meticulous in the blue but once outside it such an adventure?

Luongo is his mentor. Pretty soon, Schneider will be just as unpredictable in the blue paint as well. He's a quicky study after all.

Isn't Vancouver's goalie coach a guy who stresses staying in the net? I thought I read that he only recently changed tactics up a bit and was having both of them come out to challenge shooters more. Could it be they need to get Schneider to reel it back in again?

I think they want them out. Makes life a lot easier for the defense when they get the puck stopped or passed to them. Saves them from a lot of hits over the game and over he course of the season. Staying in would just create more turnovers and injuries. However those types of things are not as obvious and thus judged as harshly as when a goalie makes a gaff.

Lou was as bad or even worse then Schneider when he first came to Vancouver. Schneider just needs a lot of games over the next couple seasons to be able to properly learn to read the play and make the correct decisions.

Just be glad you no longer have Ian Clark, who apparently didn't know until the season was almost over that Steve Mason had undersized equipment.
