Now Anisimov out 2-3 months with a torn triceps.

Just...wow. I don't even recall those Murray-era Kings having it this bad.

Foligno signs for 6 years and $33 million.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck- ... YYA0fUPxQt.

Always thought Marcus would end up being the better Foligno, but guess not.

$5.5 million AAV I believe. I realize he's really turned it on of late, but that ain't cheap for a guy whose numbers aren't exactly eye-popping.

Jarmo still has to re-sign Bob.

Doug MacLean hired a private investigator to follow Nikolai Zherdev around for a week to find out exactly what he was doing in his spare time.

LOL heard that today.

He also said that he traded Lyle Odelein because of stuff behind the scenes.

That was the one and only absolute STEAL of a trade he made, snagged Jaroslav Spacek. Hilarious to hear he probably wouldn't have made the deal otherwise.

I heard him say he hired a PI once before, but he didn't reveal who the player was he was tracking.

Aaron Portzline just tweeted that the very next phone call Jarmo would've made had the Leafs turned down the Clarkson/Horton deal was Los Angeles to inquire about Mike Richards.

As of right now, the Jax have the most expensive group of forwards in the NHL, and the 3rd-cheapest D-corps.

The bad news? Once again, this team is one Ryan Murray injury away from missing the playoffs yet again.

Also, Nick Foligno named captain, the first guy in Columbus to wear the C since Rick Nash departed in 2012.

Clarkson or Bourque for the 2nd line? :? Good luck with that

Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen. Hartnell should be ahead of both of those guys on the depth chart. I'm guessing Calvert should be as well.

My "bold" prediction? The Jax stumble out of the gate, Richards gets the axe, and the team makes another blockbuster deal of some kind, probably involving Jack Johnson.

0-7 to start the season. Last time to do that was Chicago in 97-98.

Such high hopes, dashed in less than a month. What the hell happened?

Their #1 goalie has publicly stated he has no confidence. That'll kill the whole team in a hurry. They have also played some pretty tough teams. Even though 0-7 is a hell of a hole to climb out of, I am not counting them out of a playoff spot. They won 15/17 to end last year, and on paper, got better during the offseason. I think they'll figure it out on their upcoming road trip (4 straight, 7 of next 8) and suddenly be a force. Although I'm hoping not.

They're already panicking in Lumbus. Jarmo's gotta be on the hot seat at this point.

Lumbus loses Tortorella's debut, Ryan Johansen spends the final 6 minutes of the game on the bench with the team down by one. So it begins...
