Probably one of my favorite dudes since coming to Colorado. He brought a little bit of Boston with him and I have always enjoyed his commentary and general Avalanche homerism.

He was recently elected to the USHHOF and unfortunately recently diagnosed with cancer.

Fortunately he will still call games until his health permits otherwise.

Edited your post to correct the spelling of his name. Normally I wouldn't care but Brayden McNabb is a reviled player to Avs fans.

Regardless of what people think of him as an analyst (I have zero issue with him BTW) he's one of the nicest guys in a game that doesn't have a ton of them. I hope they detected it early enough so that the treatment is short and the discomfort is kept to a minimum.
