I'd have gone with:
A poor little baby child is born...Andrighetto
People keep saying Varly is the main reason behind the success. But I'd argue Duchene is much more important. Jen LC posted a list of players who score the highest number of their team's goals and look who's at the top.
https://twitter.com/RegressedPDO/status ... 9368756224Duchene with a staggering 19.1% of his team's goals. To put that in perspective, Ovechkin is 10th on that list (tied for 15.5%), and Tavares is 23rd (little over 13%). Basically, if Duchene doesn't score, the Avs don't win. In short...some other folks (yes, YOU Nathan MacKinnon) need to step the hell up.
The most frustrating thing about this season thus far is those few occasions where they actually win the possession battle, they have lost, and they have had some of their biggest wins of the season in games where nearly all the action took place in the Avs' side of the ice. I get that, once again, the Avs are largely riding on a hot hand and goaltending for their success, but I sure wish they'd get rewarded on those nights when they actually do it the right way.
