Again, it's Shaw, so I actually enjoyed seeing him get a taste of his own medicine, especially since he was clearly gonna run Stastny.

Duchene has completely stunned everyone with the drive and determination he's shown this season. He just keeps getting better. On a night where Jonathan Toews, Ryan O'Reilly, Patrick Kane, and Duncan Keith were all on the ice, he was the best player by far. In fact he flat-out outhustled Keith to a loose puck in the corner and set up Jamie McGinn for a nice goal. Note to all you kids out there--core strength is apparently key to success in hockey.

Avs Nation (including me) were royally pissed at Sacco for scratching Tyson Barrie instead of one of the pylons with EJ coming back. Definitely worked in his favor tonight. Still not sure it was the right move, but whatever, Barrie will be a stud for the Avs for a long time to come.
