How the hell would they recommend the scumbag to a HIGH SCHOOL after he assaulted grown men? Pro hockey players, who could probably tear him in half. To knowingly help him be around kids? This is so fucked up.

The NHL: "No investigation"

Absolutely fucked and criminal.

So disillusioned, but not at all surprised, that professional sports organizations as well as collegiate institutions enabled and covered for serial sexual abusers.

Ok so this is one sick mofo.....

Here are some of the things that he actually did...

https://www.wbez.org/stories/former-bla ... 4cfa5e15d2

People like this know exactly what they are doing and the fact that the Hawks dismissed it AND endorsed him for a high school team? Gross. I hope people take all their money.

Here's an update:

The front office staff should be in jail. The NHL is showing there true colours. Gary doesn’t care about anyone but himself. This is absolutely disgusting that the NHL is doing nothing

And then I see Bosc in that twitter stream as well.

The Hawks trade for Seth Jones and hand him a 9.5M AAV, 8 year deal. That's a lot.

Extension too, so he still has a year left on his old deal. This doesn't seem to be favorably viewed by anyone. At least he's only 26, though...

Friedman in his latest pod echoed what a lot of people were thinking with that dog-and-pony show at the draft, surrounding himself with women (and also having them all dress the exact same which was kinda weird) to announce the pick. Looked like a bunch of human PR shields.

Maybe he was going for the Robert Palmer video look?

That would've gone over better than what we saw. A keytar or two would've been a welcome sight.

No earthly idea why, but the Hawks opt not to qualify rookie forward Pius Suter, who played pretty well for them in an otherwise forgettable season.

Probably found out he volunteers at a women's shelter. Can't have that kind of person around the Blackhawks!

Fleury to CHI. No salary retained, no return. Literally just gave him to Chicago. Cap space is king.

I don't blame this brother.....I'd have to "evaluate my future" too if I was traded to the Hawks right now.

Apparently Fleury found out while scrolling through Twitter. That's fucked up of Vegas.
Fleury's agent says he's considering retiring instead of going to the Blackhawks. Could be a ploy to try to get traded to a more desirable destination.

After some arm twisting, Fleury is all smiles as he reports to Chicago.

Really have no idea what to make of this quasi-reset. Keith and Seabrook are gone for good. Toews is back. Jones and Fleury in. Worst 5v5 team in hockey last year.

Fleury joins the 500 win club in Montreal. Good stuff.

Toews also scored his first goal since Mar 2020. Long road for him.

Nothing like a game against the Habs to get some stats padded.

Chicago is being torn down. Strome and Kubalik will not be tendered offers, so they're unrestricted free agents.

DeBrincat, Dach, Hagel already gone. Kane and Toews riding it out for now but probably not happy. Keith's retirement means a 5M cap hit next season.

Seth Jones must be wondering what he signed up for.
